BETTY PUMPKIN BARS

Betty's Pumpkin Bars!

These Pumpkin Bars are named after my granddaughter Betty because
she was born in October and they are made with layers
of delicious sweetness just like
Betty.

Betty had her first Birthday Party last week and I brought
these easy to make Betty's Pumpkins Bars to
share with the parents and kids :)

They were "wowed' and there was not one bar left on the plate!

This is all you will need to make these most delicious
Betty's Pumpkin Bars...

Grab some really tasty Gingersnaps from your market.

Grind about 25 Gingersnaps to a fine crumb in a food processor.

Melt 5 tablespoon of butter.

Tumble in the Gingersnaps into the melted butter
and mix with a folk.

Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.

Evenly press the Gingersnaps into the prepared pan.

The Sweetness Starts Right Here!

Sprinkle 1 cup of white chocolate chips over the crust.

Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped pecans.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sweetened shredded coconut.

You will need 1/4 cup of chopped Heath bars (plus some to nibble on).

Sprinkle the Heath bars next.

Always feels like fall to me when this can comes around in recipes.

With a fork dabble about 1/4 cup of Sweetened Condensed Milk over the top.

Also feels like fall when these two come around.

In a small bowl add in...

1/4 cup of pumpkin puree (but NOT pumpkin pie mix).
1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
1/3 of Sweeten Condensed Milk

Give it all a good mix.

Dollop all the pumpkin goodness all over the top.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 28-34 minutes.

About 10 minutes before the bars are done drop a white chocolate
onto each little pumpkin goodness for presentation.

These "Betty's Pumpkin Bars" smell...

Delicious!

Now Cool Completely Before Cutting!

Grab a pumpkin orange knife and start slicing up

The Betty's Pumpkin Bars!

Now all you have to do is plate them on a pretty platter :)

Off to my granddaughter Betty's birthday party with my

Betty's Pumpkin Bars!

Would you like a bar before I leave /

But be warned
they are gooey and delectable and you may
want two....

Enjoy!

P.S.

This is a throwback recipe for sure!

One of my favorite things to do is change the recipe
up to fit my mood.

Betty's Pumpkin Bars make a great tasty fall treat for friends all wrapped up with ribbon!

Happy Birthday Sweet Betty XO
