STRAWBERRY CRUMBLE

 


This Strawberry Crumble is simply made with simple ingredients
that include a thick filling of fresh ,sweet strawberries topped with a
buttery, brown sugar crisp topping that is baked until golden brown.

Enjoy this dessert warm or at room temperature 
with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Delicious!


In a large bowl add in...

2/3 cup old fashion oats
2/3 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt


Give the bowl a whisk.


Pour in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.


Melt 1/2 cup of butter (1 stick).


Pour the melted butter right into the bowl.


Stir 'till thoroughly combined. This just taste YUM!


Dice up 2 lbs of strawberries.


Place the strawberries in a large bowl.


To the strawberries add in 1/4 cup of white sugar,


1/4 cup of cornstarch.


Pour in 1 tablespoon of orange juice to the bowl.


Give the strawberries a mix. 
I ate a few and wow are they tasty:)


Pour the strawberries into a 11x7 inch baking dish.


Grab the yummy crumble.


Sprinkle the topping all over the strawberries.


Bake the Strawberry Crumble in a 350 degree oven for 30-40
minutes or until bubbles appear along the sides
and the crispy topping is a light brown.


Oh this dessert smells divine but let it cool a bit before serving.


Run and grab plates & napkins fast because
it's time to Indulge in this...

Don't forget the vanilla ice cream to scoop on top!

Than your favorite ice cream :)

delicious dessert.


A fruit crumble has everything you need in a dessert. It's base is a
sweet, syrupy filling loaded with fresh berries. The topping
is a delicious buttery brown sugar crispy crumble.


And yes, some might call it a crisp, but I just call it Amazing!
