DOLLY PARTON'S MACARONI SALAD

 

Dolly Parton's Macaroni Salad!

Dolly Parton is one of my favorite people on earth so it wasn't even a

question whether or not I should try out her Macaroni Salad.

You see, Dolly does more than just sing and is "The Queen Of Country"!

Dolly is a great cook and has her own line of baking mixes 

and a few cookbooks with comforting recipes like 

the one in the picture.

Dolly Parton is working more than 9 to 5. :)

This Delicious Macaroni Salad is going to a BBQ we were invited to.

  I asked my girlfriend "what can I bring"?

 She said "what would you like to bring"?

I said "I want do bring Dolly" !

And so I did!

I always picture Dolly in PINK so I am cooking with PINK :)

In your large Pink pot of salted boiling water cook 

the Macaroni to al dente.

Drain & rinse with cold water and place the Macaroni in a large bowl.

Boil up a few eggs.

Like Dolly, I love Hard Boiled Eggs in my

Cold Macaroni Salad.

On a Pink cutting board dice up...

One Green Pepper

One Cucumber

Half Of A White Onion

Tumble all the vegetables into a large bowl.

Add 1/2 cup of Sweet Pickle Relish to the bowl and mix.

Dolly Parton is so Sweet too :)

For The Dolly Parton Dressing...

One Cup Of Mayonnaise

One Of Cup Sour Cream

1/4 Cup Of Milk

Salt & Pepper To Taste

While you sing one of Dolly's songs mix her 

creamy dressing up.

Have a taste because so Yummy and hits all the 

High Notes Of Perfection.

Now lets put this Country Song together.

Tumble the Macaroni into the bowl one note at a time.

Stream in the Dolly Dressing like Dolly's song....

"Island In The Stream ".

Pour the rest of the Macaroni & Dressing into the bowl.

Grab those hard boiled eggs.

Give the eggs a Dolly Dice.

Gently stir the eggs into the Macaroni Salad.

This Macaroni Salad is absolutely Dolly Delectable!

A Creamy Comforting Macaroni Salad By

The Queen Of Country!

Yes, you could just eat with a Shovel. LOL

I transfer the Dolly Parton Macaroni Salad into a

"Fancy Scalloped Bowl" because

Dolly Is Fancy Like That.

 Popped my Macaroni Salad into the fridge till we headed to our BBQ.

A cold Macaroni Salad is a Summer staple for ...

Picnics, BBQ, Potlucks and more :)

Before I put my Dolly Parton Macaroni Salad in the 

fridge yes,  I served myself a bowl.

Dolly Macaroni Salad is the balance of creaminess and crunch.

You won't be able to resist the homemade 

Dolly Dressing that has layers

of Zesty Flavors!

Please have a taste!

The Next Day...

There was plenty of Macaroni Salad to keep for 

us to enjoy through the week.
