Say hello to my new favorite appetizer!
The Dirty Martini Dip.
There's just something about a good Dirty Martini Cocktail, It's salty, it's briny,
and if it's dirty enough...it tastes just like olives! It's just classic.
You may even think the Rat Pack was coming to your Party!
The Dirty Martini Dip has all the flavors of the classic cocktail in a creamy
dip that's packed with flavors of blue cheese and olives.
I used an over sized Martini glass to serve the dip in because I doubled
this recipe for a Christmas Party we were throwing.
Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
4 ounces crumbled blue cheese
3/4 cup pimento stuffed olives, chopped
1 Tablespoon olive juice
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
In a large mixing bowl combined all the cheese and spices
together using a a hand held mixer. Then toss
in the olives.
Transfer the dip into a Martini glass and garnish:)
Look at that, the Rat Pack actually showed up with a beautiful lady!
This Dirty Martini Dip is a make ahead dip and is
delicious dipped with some...
Crusty Bread
Triscuits
Pretzels
Fresh Veggies
Even Santa Loved The
Dirty Martini Dip.
Enjoy!
P.S.
I bet this dip would taste good on a roast beef sandwich or
dripping on a good piece of beef tenderloin :)
