TACO LASAGNA

Taco Casserole starts with a handful of ingredients and gets layered together
to make the best Taco Lasagna with tortillas. So delicious!

This recipe can make one large casserole or two medium size.

There is no just Taco Tuesday...

Taco Everyday sounds good to me :)

Grab 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef.

Chop up one medium onion into small pieces.

Add beef to a large skillet with a bit of olive oil and cook over medium heat.

This gadget is great for crumbling the beef....
Don't know what it is called :)

Add in the onions.

Add a little salt & pepper.

With the gadget give the skillet a stir.

Grab two packets of your favorite Taco seasoning

Toss in the Taco seasoning.

Toss in one can of diced Fire Roasted tomatoes.

Toss in some diced Green Chiles.

Toss in a few spoonfuls of Salsa and have a taste. You may want more :)

Chile Con Queso is optional... I say yes.

Toss in a few spoonfuls of Chile Con Queso and give the skillet a stir.

Pull the meat off the stove and get ready to build the
Taco Lasagna.

Grease a 9x9 baking dish with some olive oil.

You will need 12 8-inch soft flour tortillas.

Place three tortillas cut up in the bottom of the dish.

Top the tortillas with some of the Taco meat to cover.

Sprinkle some shredded Mexican cheese over the Taco meat.

Another layer or tortillas.

Taco meat and cheese.

One more layer of tortillas.

Toss a sprinkle of cheese over the top.

Place on a cookie sheet so you don't have a messy spill in the oven.

Bake the Taco Casserole in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes
or until hot and melty :)

I whipped up another Taco casserole while the other
one was cooking to freeze straight away.
No need to cook this one.

Played with my Limes & Flowers for my Mexican Dinner Centerpiece :)

For the topping on Taco Lasagna...

Sour Cream
Salsa
Guacamole

Taco Casserole is done but letting it cool
just a bit for easy cutting.

Little garnish with some Cilantro.

Pour the Margaritas & Slice The Taco Casserole.

I love Tacos so much that I turned them into a Taco Lasagna!

Would you like a taste of this absolutely
Fabulous ,Yummy, Delicious

BISS (Because I Said So)

One bite the rest is mine :)

Enjoy!
