CORN BREAD WITH SUN-DRIED TOMATOES, BASIL AND CHEESE

Everyone (yes, literally) Corn Bread with Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Basil and Cheeses
is dense, delicious and devin and so not "Boring." I have made several loafs
so be warned, it's highly addictive. Let me show you how to
make & eat this savory cornbread :)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. in a medium bowl mix 1 cup of flour and 1 cup corn meal.

Add in 2 teaspoons of baking powder.

Add in 2 teaspoon of garlic powder.

Then add 1 teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of pepper.

In another bowl tumble, drop or pour 1 large egg, 1/4 cup canola oil and one cup of milk.

Mix away.

Pour your wet into the dry ingredients.

With one of your favorite spatula give the batter it a few turns.

Now add in a 1/4 a cup of shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

Grab any brand of Sun Dried Tomatoes and give a good chop to about 10 of them.

Gently fold in the Sun Dried Tomatoes and a 1/4 cup of fresh Basil and mix together.

Butter loaf pan well.

Pour batter into your loaf pan and DO NOT GO TO THE OVEN YET!

Accessories with some fresh Basil and we are not done yet….

Top with a little more cheese. OK, now you can go and pop this into the oven
for about 35-40 minutes or until a the tooth pick comes out clean
when you to the pokee pokee trick :)

This smell amazing!

Drizzle a little bit of olive oil and a sprinkle of sea salt over the top.

Once the pan is cool enough to handle flip the corn bread on to a rack.

How good does this look? You can eat your bread just plane but
let me show you how I like to eat mine.

Top your Corn Bread with cream cheese or...

a little drizzle of olive oil because we can & it's tasty!

Why not top it with butter? Have a taste.

We were heading to a dinner party and what a perfect hostess gift this made.

Well, actually my hostess gift got a little better with a bottle of
Whispering Angel Rose don't you think?

Enjoy!
