CHERRY PIE COOKIES

Cherry Pie Cookies will make you summer even sweeter. Mini pies in the form
of a cookie are great for picnics and bbq's. Cute & Easy and so Delish!

Grab a can of your favorite 21oz. cherry pie filling.

Use a knife to chop up pie filling into small pieces.

Dust work area with flour and lay out your
"Store Bought Pie Crust" down.

Use a simple Mason Jar lid to make several circles in the pie dough.

Place the circles on baking sheet line with parchment paper.

Spread the chopped pie filing on all your mini pie crust.

Grab one more pie crust and make strips to create a lattice top over the filling cover crust.

Looking like a pie to me :)

All latticed up.

Beet egg in a bowl until well blended.

Brush lattice tops with egg wash and bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven
or until golden brown.

I wish you could smell how good theses cookies smell right now!!!!

Place Cherry Pie Cookies on a wire rack to cool a bit.

Bit is over now and going to have one cookie…NOW!

Or three cookies.

Delicious! Individual dessert like cookies are perfect they
require no real serve-ware. Just some napkins if you spill :)

Have at bite of my cookie and tell me what ya think.
"Happy Summer Fun Dessert"

Enjoy!

P.S.

Mini Cherry Pie Cookies - are a fun way to make your version of your favorite pie plus
you get to eat the whole pie yourself. However, dangerous you may eat several.

P. S. Again…What do you do with your left over pie dough scraps?

Yes I do :)

Would you like one because they are hot and tasty little treats. XO
