HONEYDEW SORBET

This easy fruit sorbet just might be a fabulous idea for cooling down this summer. Honeydew Sorbet is embarrassingly simple to make. Sorbet is basically blended frozen fruit that is sweetened. Frankly,
I am not complaining that there is no sugar or cream involved. Guess what, no churning :)
The only labor in this recipe is cutting up the Honeydew.

Grab two Honeydew melons from your market.

Slice…

Scoop out the seeds.

Slice up Honeydew into cubes.

My last one to slice.

How hard was that?

Toss cube Honeydew on a lined cookie sheet.

Cover with some wrap and off to the freezer till frozen about 4 hours.
I froze mine over night.

Pop your frozen Honeydew into a food processor.

You will need some yummy honey and my favorite comes from our
friend's Grindstone Ranch. Thank you Moore's

You will blend in two batches. So pour in a 1/4 cup of the honey.

Pour now in a 1/4 cup of water.

Ok, lets blend the first batch…

Now were starting to talk SORBET.

Stop blender a few times and push down on melon into the blade for a good mix.

Really, lets be honest here. I stop the mix to have a taste and it TASTE so good.

After blending all the melon just pour the Honeydew Sorbet into a metal loaf pan.

Cover and off to the freezer for about an hour or until your ready to have a bowl.

Looks done to me! Yaaaaa

Grab some bowls and lets have some now.

Spoons out so easy!

Garnish. Please help yourself to one.

This Honeydew Sorbet is all mine.

You can take any fruit you want, any flavor you want and transform them into refreshing and delicious fruit sorbet. Thinking Raspberry, Pineapple, Melon, Peaches, Strawberries, Apricots next.
Damn, I will be doing this all summer over and over again.

Enjoy!
