It's true, I am kinda on a kick with Pumpkins right now. It's hard
to resist an appetizer that is so lovely to look at
and taste so yummy. Perfect fall appetizer for a October Birthday Party
for our adorable friend Lynn!
Cut just about a 3-inch circle around the pumpkin stem and remove the top.
Scarpe out pumpkin seeds and fibers. Be sure to save the pumpkin seeds
to roast and tumble into the fondue…or
just eat them like popcorn:)
Seriously, roasted pumpkins seeds are addicting …Just a warning!!!
Little salt and butter, few minutes in the oven. Yum.
Pour a little olive oil into the pumpkins and season
with a little salt & pepper.
Pop this cute pumpkin into a preheated 350 degree oven
for about 35 minutes (depends on size of pumpkin) till tender.
Don't over cook the pumpkin because
it's the bowl for your Fondue ;)
While the pumpkin is cooking whip up your favorite Fondue.
Just ladle in the "Fondue Love" into the pumpkin.
Top a few roasted Pumpkin Seeds in
and get those Wine Glasses filled.
On it, filling glasses now.
Happy Birthday Lynn from all of us!
