SPRING ASPARAGUS RECIPES

Spring is my favorite season primarily for one reason… The Asparagus!
Well yeah, the nice weather and temperatures with flowers in bloom.

A great idea I do is roast plenty of Asparagus ahead of time. Just with
salt, paper, and olive oil in the oven. Then I store them in
the refrigerator for some quick Spring Dishes in a snap!

I love asparagus simply squeezed with a lemon

Asparagus with roasted cherry tomatoes and parmesan cheese.

Asparagus salad with garbanzo beans, radishes and spinach. You pick the dressing.

Asparagus Frittata. Have a taste :)

Asparagus tossed with pesto sauce, chicken and kalamata olives. Yum.

Did you say "Cocktails"? Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto.

Enjoy!

P.S.

How to pick Asparagus...

1. Look for asparagus spears firm to touch.
2. Look for a bright green color
3. Look to make sure asparagus spears tips are closed and tight.
4. Look for no blemishes, mottled or wilting.
5. Choose the diameter of spears according to need.
Sometimes smaller asparagus is simply better look for presentation.
