RECIPE FOR ONE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE

I kid you not when I say this recipe is EPIC.
How many times have you craved a hot Chocolate Chip Cookie but you were to lazy to whip up a whole batch, plus never mind the clean up and…
you only wanted One.

This recipe only takes 5 minutes prep, a few tools, and a quick bake in the oven and you've got yourself an Unbelievable Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie.

We are almost done!

Thank you Hot Pink Spatula again.

Off to the oven!

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp salted butter
3Tbsp packed light-brown sugar
1 pinch salt
1 Tbsp whisked egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup chocolate chips, divided

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a microwave safe mixing bowl. Heat in microwave until nearly melted ( you want it almost all the way melted, remove from microwave just before completely melted and stir to fully melt. You just don't want it too hot or it will cook the egg and melt the chocolate chips when stirring).

To melted butter, and brown sugar, salt, 1Tbsp egg, the vanilla, flour and baking soda. Stir with the spoon until combined. Mix in 3 Tbsp of the chocolate chips. Shape dough into 3 1/2- inch disk on parchment paper lined baking sheet, gently press remaining 1 Tbsp chocolate chips randomly over the top and sides of the cookie. Bake in preheated oven 12-14 minutes, until cookie is golden.

To get 1Tbsp egg- crack egg into small bowl, whisk until yolk and white are well blended, then measure out 1 Tbsp.

The other reason this recipe is so awesome to me is because how many times do you want a quick dessert to take to someone? Simplified thank you for that someone and they'll never have to know how easy it was to make.

Have some milk with your cookie. Oops

Enjoy!

P.S. Never Cry Over Spilled Milk!
