POPOVERS

I am Popping into the first day of Fall with...

Popovers!

They are so delicious all by themselves but for breakfast
I love them with a little of my homemade
Strawberry Peach Jam.

Popovers are delicious dipped in gravy with
your roast for dinner too. YUM!

Simple, easy to make with just 4 ingredients that
I bet you already have in your house now.

Pop into the kitchen and lets get these Popovers started..

2 Eggs
1 cup of Flour
1 1/4 cup of Whole Milk (room temperature)
1 tablespoon of melted Butter

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Grease a nonstick, standard muffin tin and
place in the oven to heat while you prepare the batter.

In a large bowl add the flour and 3/4 teaspoon of salt.

Add all of the wet ingredients into a cute
medium size Pyrex bowl.

Give the bowl a good mix till blended.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry.

Grab a whisk and mix everything together.

Use a ladle to fill each hole in the muffin tin with the
batter between 2/3 and 3/4 full.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes and then reduce the oven
temperature to 350 degrees.

Bake until they develop a nice brown color, an
additional 15 minutes.

Opening the oven door while Popovers bake increases the
chance the will deflate, so....

Look through the window but don't give in to temptation!

Crusty Yummy Popovers Right Here!

Yes, you should eat Popovers right out of the oven to
best enjoy their ideal light, crisp exterior and
tender, eggy interior. :)

Pop Into Fall With A Delicious Bite Of My Popover!

Enjoy!
