This Lemon Loaf is so Tangy, Moist and Perfectly Sweet!
You will be thrilled to know that you won't feel "Squeezed"
for time because it's so easy to make and packed
with Citrusy Goodness!
First things first so make your Lemon Flower Vase. :)
Lemon Vases!
In a medium bowl whisk together...
1 1/2 cups of Flour
1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
1/2 tsp of Baking Soda
1/4 tsp of Salt
In a larger bowl add 3 large Eggs and 1 cup of Sugar.
Tumble in 1 cup of Sour Cream to thew bowl.
Pour in 1/4 cup of Lemon juice.
Pour in 2 tbsp of melted Butter and 1/2 cup of Vegetable Oil.
Give the bowl a good WHISKING!
Lemons have the "Zest Of Intentions" LOL.
Zest up 2 Lemons into the bowl.
Gradually add in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Give the bowl a mix and with a Lemon spatula
scrape the sides of the bowl too.
Grab your Lemon Loaf Pan and butter it up and
then pour the batter right on in.
Truck The Lemon Loaf to the oven.
Bake it at 350 degrees for about 45-50 minutes or until
a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Yummy batter to enjoy!
Now for Glaze.
Grab 1 cup of Powdered Sugar and !/2 tbsp of Lemon Juice.
Add the Lemon Juice and Sugar and mix mix mix.
Lemon Zest away!
Set the Lemon Glaze aside till the loaf is done.
My kitchen smells like Citrus now!
Lemon Loaf is done but let it cool in
the pan for 10 minutes.
Transfer the loaf to a wire rack.
Fingers crossed it comes out perfectly :)
I just LOVE this loaf pan!
I added a bit more lemon juice to the glaze to
adjust the consistency.
Grab a fork and Glaze away all over
