MACARONI SALAD

Cold Macaroni Salad is just Sumerlicious
because it's Delicious...
and it's Summer!

This is really not a Recipe but a Reminder that Old School
Macaroni Salad is perfect for your Memorial Day
BBQ and perfect all Summer long.

Macaroni Salad really doesn't have a recipe because it's just
a Pasta Party
filled with your favorite vegetables, cheese and more.

This is how I make mine and sometimes I change it up.

Now that the trucks drove all the ingredients
in it's time to make...

Macaroni Salad!

Get your Rooster to boil up some salted water for the pasta.

Boil the pasta till aldente. You want a bite still on it.

My Rooster is keeping an eye on the pasta but
look what my Sous Chef is keeping
an eye on...the gardeners :)

Once the pasta is done drain it under cold water.

Grab a large bowl and tumble the pasta in.

Tumble into the pasta...

1 chopped Red Pepper
1 chopped Orange Pepper
1 chopped Yellow Pepper
Several  Sliced Celery Stalks

Give the bowl a mix.

Add in some Mayo & Mustard to taste and mix.

Some folks add in sour cream too.

 I don't but you can :)

Toss in some cubed Cheddar Cheese to the Pasta Party.

Have a taste to see if you need any more of this or that.

I forgot the Salt & Pepper?

The truck just drove in with some more Red Peppers
so I am going to add them in because I
love Red Peppers.

Maybe a bit more Mayo & Mustard.
Mix and pop this salad in the fridge to get really cold.

With a cookie cutter make some

Memorial Day Stars to garnish the Macaroni Salad.

Cover and head off to your BBQ with a
Summerlicious Macaroni Salad.

I didn't take all the Macaroni Pasta Salad to the Party.

Saving some for my Lunch the next day.

Enjoy!

P.S.

Other things to toss into a Macaroni Salad are...

Black Olives
Pickles
Pepperoni
Eggs

Then toss into your glass a chilled
Whitehall Lane Sauvignon Blanc!

Happy Memorial Day!
