FIRE CRACKERS

Do you need some Firecrackers for the 4th Of July?

Well here they are, but they are Firecrackers for your mouth!

My sister Peggy sent me this recipe from Southern Living Magazine. I was so intrigued I
had to try it out. Beware.... they are Delicious & Addictive!

Lets Make Some Fire Crackers For The 4Th Of July.

Using a large gallon Ziploc bag, sprinkle in

1 tsp. garlic powder
1tsp. onion powder

Toss in two packages of powdered Ranch Dressing Mix.

Sling in 3 tablespoons of red pepper flakes.

To the bag add in 1/2 tsp. of black pepper.

Pour 2 cups of olive oil into the bag.

Close the bag and knead thoroughly to mix the ingredients together.

Grab your Saltine Crackers and toss all 4 sleeves into the bag.

Re-seal the bag, and gently turn the bag over several times
to coat the crackers with spice mixture. The more you do
this, the better the coating and the spicier the taste!

Let the bag sit overnight.

Grab two baking sheets and line it with parchment paper.

Remove the crackers and lay them all out on the baking sheet.

Bake the crackers in a 250 degree oven for about 10 minutes.

Don't even bother to let them cool. Just put a Fire Cracker in your
mouth and taste the fabulous spicy blast.

BOOOOM, Fireworks In A Bowl.

Fire Crackers are wonderful all alone but a good
Pimento Cheese Dip and A Cold Beer
can add to the Fireworks!

No Fireworks in the sky now just Fireworks in my platter.

These Fire Crackers are also known as

The Alabama Fire Cracker.s

Enjoy!

P.S.

Happy 4th Of July!

Grab a cold one and put a straw in it :)
