COCOA STAR BARS

Aaaaah, my single-bite delight!

Cocoa Star Bars were the perfect dessert for our Memorial Weekend dinner party :)

This dessert is rich, delicious, and totally DECADENT....

Can't wait to share with you where I found this over the top recipe.... later at the end.

Grab a large bowl and tumble in 2 sticks of butter (1 cup).

Toss 1 cup of C&H Pure Cane Golden Brown Sugar into the bowl.

Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Scrape the sides
of the bowl with a strawberry spatula.

Add in 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.

Crack in two eggs to the bowl and give it a good beat with the mixer.

In a medium size bowl add two cups of flour.

1 teaspoon of baking powder.

1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Toss in 1/2 cup of cocoa powder to the dry ingredients.

Give the bowl a mixie mixie....

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Now stir till all combined.

Grease up a 8x8x2 inch baking dish and spread half of the chocolate dough in.

Top the chocolate dough with YES, a (12oz.) package of white chocolate pieces.
Gently press into the dough.

Carefully spread the remaining dough over the top of the chips.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Seriously smells outrageous but, let cool on a rack before cutting.

Cut into 16 slices.

Plate the Cocoa Star Bars.

Then dress up the Cocoa Star Bars with some berries....Serve

Recipe Reveled....

Heres something you didn't know about me. I love trying recipes on the
backside of boxes and even random cans like Rotel Tomatoes. They always
seem to be tried and true. So if the brand is going
to share it on their product....It must be
GOOD!

So let me know when you find a GREAT recipe off a box or can :)

Enjoy!
