Happy Fat Tuesday!
These Creole Sausage Balls are just the perfect appetizer to celebrate
Mardi Gras!
The creole seasoning in the sausage ball gives them just that flavor twist.
A Truckload of Louisiana Hot Sauce and Honey Mustard
for dipping will make them memorable :)
In a large bowl add in 2 1/4 cups of Bisquick.
2 tsp of Creole Seasoning.
Few shakes of dried chives and give the bowl a mix.
Grab one Mr. Jimmy Dean Sausage :)
Toss the sausage into the bowl and add a few squirts of mustard.
Pour 1/2 cup of Buttermilk into the bowl.
Tumble in 1 1/2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
Few little shake shakes of hot sauce depending on ....how HOT you like it :)
Using your hands, mix thoroughly until combined. It takes a
few minutes to fully incorporate all the
ingredients.
Roll the mixture into bite size balls and place onto a cookie sheet.
Bake the sausage balls in a 350 degree oven
for 22-25 minutes.
Grab a cocktail and dip your
Creole Sausage Balls in some Honey Mustard. YUMMY !
I dipped one for you but go ahead and shake a little hot sauce on top.
Now I Feel Like I'm In New Orleans Celebrating Mardis Gras!
Enjoy!
