HOT FUDGE CAKE

Hot Fudge Cake works magic in the oven! A rich hot fudge sauce forms underneath
an outrageously delicious chocolate cake.

You know Valentines has us craving for "Chocolate".

In a large bowl add in...

1 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 cup of granulated sugar

1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Add into the bowl 2/3 cup of your favorite cocoa powder :)

Give the bowl a mix and add in 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

Pour in 1/2 cup of warm milk.

Pour in 1/3 cup of unsalted melted butter.

Using hand mixer beat the batter until smoothed.
Scrape sides with a monogram
spatula :)

Tumble the batter into a greased 9 inch baking dish.

Spread the batter evenly all around and set aside.

In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/4 cocoa powder.

Mix the bowl well with a fork breaking up any lumps.

Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the batter in the dish.

The "Magic" comes from this step :)

Pour 1 1/4 cups of hot water over the top - But Do Not Stir!

Wow can you smell COCOA now!

Off to a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes to bake into the
most Delicious & Decadent Dessert ever :)

While the Hot Fudge Cake is cooking pour yourself
a glass of Champagne!

The aroma in my kitchen is just fabulous!

Garb a little heart and give it a dusting of powdered sugar!

This looks like Valentines to me XOXO

The chocolate sauce just runs out when you dig in.

Heavenly!

Take this Hot Fudge Cake over the top and serve it with a
scoop of Vanilla Bean ice cream :)

You may not be sure whether to devour this dessert with a fork or a spoon... Maybe both.

I love to share....have a bite.

Happy Valentines Day !

XOXO

Enjoy!
