Sausage rolls are a British Classic so if your planning on watching
The Royal Wedding you may wan to whip up a few.
Sausage rolls are an addictively tasty snack, perfect for parties. Plus easy to make.
Slice up about 3oz of smoked bacon and finely dice up 1/2 onion.
Put both in a small-medium skillet and cook over medium heat until onion
has soften and the bacon is cooked but not crisp.
Toss into a boll and set it aside.
Put ground pork in the same skillet and cook over medium heat. Add 1 tbsp ground sage.
1 tsp of nutmeg, 1/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp of pepper.
Put the ground pork into the bowl with the bacon and onions.
Toss in a 1/2 cup of "Old London" breadcrumbs to the mixture.
Make sure it's "Old London" Because it's a
British Appetizer.
Have a bit of a taste because it's so good!
Whip up some egg wash and slice a store bought puff pastry into a rectangle.
lay out the meat onto the puff pastry.
Just roll it up.
Give the roll an egg wash all around.
Then just start slicing and place them on parchment line baking sheets.
Off to a preheated 375 degree oven for about 20 minutes.
Oh yes we are...While the appetizers are cooking we are mixing up
