COCOA BROWNIES

Please forgive me, I just love chocolate. It's in my genetic make-up.

The best- and easiest- brownies you'll ever make.
This recipe belongs in your repertoire.

Let's get baking but first make sure you use a great Cocoa Powder.
I am a huge fan of the Dutch "Scharffen Berger" but not
because my husband is Dutch...

Melt 1/2 cups of unsalted butter. Let cool slightly.

In a large bowl add 1 1/4 cups of sugar.

1/3 cups of flour...You know theses brownies will be moist
because that is not much flour going in.

The star of the show...3/4 cups of Scharffen Berger
Cocoa Powder (unsweetened).

Whisk all the dry ingredients together.

Pour in butter in a steady stream into the bowl.

Add in two eggs.

To the mixture add in 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Give this batter a good whisking.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with foil. Coat foil with nonstick spray.

Pop that lushes chocolate batter in to the baking pan.

With a Polkadot off set spatula spread the batter evenly.
Bake in 325 degree oven for 30- 35 minutes.

Bake until begins to crack and toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Oh yum...I know how to clean these tools.

Well my kitchen smells amazing :)

Using the foil over hang lift the brownies out of the pan.

Don't be tempted to let these Cocoa Brownies come to room
temperature before devouring them up.

Such moist chocolate goodness on a plater and I
can't keep them all to myself :(

All gift wrapped up for part of a birthday gift for our friend Steve.

Look behind that jar, two brownies left.

Little Milk Please!

Enjoy!
