CHERRY PIE PASTRY ENVELOPE

Make this Cherry Pie Pastry for your Valentine this year.
Move over paper because we want to eat our
Valentine Card...

Unroll pastry on a floured surface. Grab a paper envelope to use as a pattern
Make sure it's red.

Open the envelope and cut pastry all around.

Place pastry on parchment paper.

Now for your Valentine's message...

Fill the pastry with cherry pie filling, but not in the back flap.

Following the folds of the paper envelope, fold the cutout pastry,
leaving the upper flap open.

Well done, but not done.

Seal it with a Heart.

With a pink brush spread a bit of egg wash all around the envelope.

So adorable. Bake your Valentine in a 375 degree oven
for about 15- 25 minutes till lightly browned.

Dear Valentine...

Now what is your address?

Happy Valentines. Enjoy!

P.S.

With you left over pastry make some Cherry Pie Cookies :)

Top & Pop into the oven for about 10-15 minutes.

Grab a bite.
