With a flaky wonton crust, these Lasagna bites may look delicate, but they've got enough
hearty meat sauce and satisfying ricotta to power any
Super Bowl Extravaganza!
We need to fuel up for The Super Bowl properly. No one wants to sit down
for a six-course TV dinner so make a bunch of appetizers, throw
them on counter, and let them graze as they watch.
Over medium heat cook up some sausage and ground beef.
Pour into the pot your homemade Marinara Sauce. If it's store bought, no judging here ;)
For the Ricotta Filling:
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
3/4 cup Ricotta
sprinkle of pepper
Grab your Wontons.
Pull out your mini muffin pan and spray it with cooking oil.
Place a Wonton wrapper in each cup.
Drop about 1 teaspoon of the meat sauce in each cup.
Then add 1 teaspoon of the ricotta filling.
Cover with second Wonton wrapper, rotating in about 90-degrees so that the corners
of the first wrapper and the second aren't on top of each other.
Repeat with the meat sauce and Ricotta and top to of with a sprinkle of
Parmesan & Mozzarella and a bit of Basil.
Bake in a 375 degree oven for about 20 minutes
When times up , resist the temptation to eat them
right away or else you'll burn your
MOUTH!
Let them rest on counter for about 10 minutes and they will slip right out of the muffin pan.
10 minutes is up...
