MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE

Mississippi Mud Pie- an Oreo piecrust, 2 layers of chocolate and a creamy
whipped topping makes this no-bake icebox pie
impossible to resist :)

Place 22 Oreo cookies in a food processor and process until finely ground.

Place the ground Oreos into a bowl and pour in 1/4 cup of butter.
With a Flamingo Spatula give the bowl a good mix.

Spoon the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate. Use your hands or the back
of a spoon to spread out evenly.

Melt 4 oz, of semisweet chocolate over a double boiler.

Remove melted chocolate from the stove and add 1/4 cup of
sweetened condensed milk and
give a good mix.

Top the crust with the rich fudgy chocolate. Yum.

Sprinkle over the fudge about 1/4 cup of chopped pecans.

In a medium bowl, whisk together 1(5.9-ounce) package instant
chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups of milk.

Fold 1/2 cup whipped topping into the pudding mixture
from your 8 ounce tub of frozen whipped topping

Give a good stir and have a taste. :)

Pour the pudding over the pecans. Not done yet.

Top with the remaining whipped topping.

Little bit of mini chocolate chips over the top. Off to the
refrigerator until set.

Super Easy & Fabulous Delicious.

Because it is no-bake and it's served cold, Mud Pies are perfect
desserts for scorching hot days.

I have made this pie several times this summer. It's pure chocolate heaven.
Don't expect any left overs!

Have a slice.

Enjoy!
