GUINNESS BEEF STEW

St. Patricks Day is coming up, so I want to inspire you to try this Irish Stew. I just love
the flavor the Guinness adds to this Stew. It's hearty, easy, delicious;
all the best things. One of my favorite dishes for St. Pats Day
along with...
 Corn Beef and Cabbage!

Season 3lbs. stew meat lightly with salt and pepper and then coat then in flour.

Chop up 4 potatoes, two carrots, parsnip and 1/2 of an onion.

Heat oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Cook beef until almost brown.

Chop up 3 garlic cloves and add them to the chopped vegetables.

Toss the vegetables into the pot with the meat.

Pour in two cups of beef broth into the pot.

Here is you Irish Flavor Bomb…Guinnness

This is a 14 ounce can of beer. Pour into the pot 12 ounces and then drink the remaining :)

Give the stew a good stir.

Spoon in 2 tablespoons of tomatoes paste and off to the stove top we go.

Cook your Guinness Beef Stew on medium for about 45 - 50 until
all the vegetables are fork tender.

While the Stew is cooking get your Leprechaun on and make cloves
from store bought puff pastry.

Little egg wash and off to the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes.

Get your "Green" on the stew in done.

Little green garnish for a little Top Of The Morning.

Irish Pastry Clove Please.

Serve your Guinness Beef Stew with a tall glass of Guinness.

Gimme a bite…

Don't forget to dunk your Irish Clove.
May the luck of the Irish alway be with you!

Enjoy!

P.S.

How do you get an Irishman on the house?
Tell him the drinks are on the house.

What do you call an Irishman who keeps bouncing off the walls?
Rick O' Shea!

Alright, so an Irish guys walks out of a bar…
Yes its possible.

Enjoy!
