RED WINE DARK CHOCOLATE BROWNIES

Brownies aren't the most glamorous desserts around but...when you start adding
some Red Wine into the batter they get a bit more "Fancy".
Brownies just fill that chocolate craving!

Over a double boiler melt 11/2 sticks of butter and 8 oz dark chocolate.

The Fancy to the Brownies…Red Wine.

Measure one cup of Red Wine and pour yourself a full glass of the wine.
Sip while you bake :)

Pour the red wine into a sauce pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Boil until
reduced by half, about 8 minutes. Set aside to cool.

In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour and 1/4 cup dark coco powder.

1/4 teaspoon baking powder, baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

Make sure you let the melted chocolate cool to touch.

Add in 1 3/4 cups of sugar and whisk well. Yup, its a bit of sugar :)

Continue whisking and crack in two eggs.

Pour into the batter 1/2 cup of the red wine reduction. Whisk.

Once smooth, add in the flour mixture and stir until all combined.

Using a rubber spatula scrape the sides of the bowl and pour the batter
into a parchment- lined 8x8 tray that been sprayed
with nonstick cooking spray.

Place into a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

While the brownies are baking enjoy this for sure :)

Yes, my kitchen smells awesome!

Once the brownies are cooled place them on a nice plater.

Dust the brownies with some confectionery sugar.

Grab a knife and have a bite.

You will love…
red wine in your brownies and not just in a glass anymore.

Look how moist this brownie looks.

I really want you to have a taste.

Enjoy!
