BAKED APPLE CIDER DONUTS

Have you noticed how Donuts are so "in'' right now? I am a sucker for trends.
You can make donuts yourself with this awesome bake donut recipe.
They are delicious, Cinnamon-y and Apple-y.

Preheat you oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, melt 3 tbsp. of butter.

Stir in 1/3 cup of you favorite Apple Cider into the melted butter and set it aside.

Whisk together in a large bowl 1 cup of flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt
and 1/2 tsp. apple pie spice.

Whisk the one egg into the melted butter and cider.

Stir together the wet and dry ingredients until just combined. Don't over mix.

Spray your cute donut pan with cooking spray.

Add the batter evenly into the pan. Off to the oven and bake for
about 7 minutes and test with a toothpick.

While the donuts are baking, make the topping. Melt 3 tbsp. butter and place
in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, stir in 1/3 cup brown sugar,
1/3 cup white sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Dip each donut in the butter mixture and lightly coat in the
dry mixture. Place on a cooling rack.

Dip..

Dip...

These Apple Cider Donuts are best eating NOW.

Why not have a cup of Hot Apple Cider with you donut?
It's cold outside.

This one is for you.

Enjoy!

P.S.
