I have a perfect meal for your Halloween night. One pot Goulash is a classic favorite dish packed with more flavor. Everything is made in one pot (including the noodles) and done in 30 minutes.
This is one of those comfort food recipes that I remember my mother used to make.
In a large Dutch oven, cook and stir the 2 pounds of ground beef over
medium-high heat, breaking the meat up as it cooks till brown.
Skin off excess fat, and toss in 3 cloves of garlic.
Add in 2 large onions diced.
Cook and stir the meat mixture until the onions are translucent,
about 10 more minutes.
Stir in 3 cups of water to the pot.
Pour in 2 (15ounce ) cans of tomato sauce.
Next into the pot are 2 ( 14.5 ounces ) cans diced tomatoes.
Add 3 tablespoons of soy sauce.
2 tablespoons of dried Italian herb seasoning.
1 tablespoon seasoned salt, or to taste.
Drop in three bay leaves into the Dutch oven.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
MAUREEEEEN !!! Its boiling. Bring on the elbow macaroni.
Measure out 2 cups of uncooked elbow macaroni.
Stir in the macaroni.
Simmer the Goulash over low heat until the pasta is tender, about 30 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and, discard bay leaves.
Serve the Goulash before you head out to your Halloween activities or
cover the pot and enjoy when you return!
While your out at your Halloween Party or Trick-or-Treating
I will keep all the Ghost & Goblins from eating your
Halloween Goulash :)
But you can't keep me from lifting the lid and having a bowl.
I need a SPOON…
Wait.. I'am a Witch
Have a bite my little pretty. Its comfort food at it's best.
Enjoy!
P.S.
Dress in costume and have a fabulous
HALLOWEEN!
