PORK CHOPS WITH CHERRY PAN SAUCE

Pork Chops With Cherry Sauce is just over the top Delicious!

If you're Pork-ticular about your Pork Chops
you will love this recipe!

Here the Pork Chops are simply seasoned and the star of
the dish is the wonderful Herb-Cherry Pan Sauce.

The sauce is made up of sweet summer Cherries, fresh Thyme and
a tawny Port Wine. It's topped with butter at the end
for a luscious texture and beautiful sheen.

Let's Pork-ceed to the simple ingredients.

Buy some beautiful sweet Cherries from your
Farmers Market.

You will need to about 2 cups of pitted halved Cherries
for the Fabulous Cherry Sauce.

Sprinkle 4 or 5 bone-in Pork Chops on both sides with
salt, pepper and garlic powder.

I am Pork-ticular about bone-in Pork Chops because the bone
makes it less likely to dry out while cooking.

I am Pork-ticulat about my skillet too and this one
is perfect for this kind of recipe.

Heat up about 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet.

Grab some colorful Tongs and the Pork Chops and
lets Pork-ceed to cooking the Chops up!

Add the Pork Chops a few at a time, so not to crowd the pan.

Cook the Pork Chops until browned on the first side
4-5 minutes. Flip the Pork Chops over and
cook the other side.

Theses look perfect.

Transfer the Pork Chops to a sheet pan and place in
a warm oven while you cook up the rest of the
Pork Cops and whip up the Cherry Sauce.

Into the oven they go!

A little more oil into the pan and cook up the
last two Pork Chops.

Pork Chops are staying warm and now it's
time to make the Cherry Sauce.

Wowza look at this Pan.

All of the juice and stuck on bits just enhance
the Cherry Sauce so much.

Trust me on this :)

Grab the Cherries
1 cup of tawny Port Wine
2 tablespoons of  Butter
Fresh Thyme
1/4 teaspoon of salt

Pour all the Port Wine into the skillet.

Tumble in all of the Cherries and give the
skillet a gentle stir and scrape.

You want to scrape and loosen all the bits and pieces off the
bottom of the pan.

Fling in the flavor Thyme.

All the butter gets tumbled in along with the salt.

Bring this Cherry Sauce to a simmer
for about 4 minutes.

This dinner is going to be Pork- ticularly amazing
with a side of fresh cut green beans.

Have a taste of the sauce because its tastes
so GOOD you may just want to
drink a cup of it.

The Cherry Sauce has the perfect simmer going.

Grab the Pork Chops out of the oven.

Place the Pork Chops into the skillet flipping them
several times to get  them totally drenched in
the Cherry Sauce.

Top each of the Pork Chops with lots of
CHERRIES.

Time for the Thyme garnish.

Dinner Is Ready...

When Pigs start a band it's called a Pork-estra
and I hear the music now :)

Pork-sibly the Best Meal Ever on this plate.

Are you having a Pork- ticular craving for a bite
of my Pork Chops with a Cheery Sauce?

Please have a taste.

Now Pork-out....

Enjoy!
