HELLO FOOTBALL FANS!

Well, it's Playoff weekend and we have all the makings for some exciting games.

The makings for my delicious White Chicken Chile that is.

This is a perfect game day party TOUCHDOWN!

This flavorful chile recipe is so creamy, hearty and cozy that the
crowd will be cheering on the sidelines for more.

Add some fresh toppings, and you have an irresistible delicious meal.

so... HUP 1, HUP 2 ...COOK, COOK, COOK !!!!

HUDDLE UP!

As your quatrerback, I will be calling the plays today.

Congrats, you've just won the coin toss!

Now that the players are on the field, grab two roast chickens from your favorite market .
(and no this is not cheating)

The Teams are ready to play.

It's kickoff time.

Break away all the chicken from the roast and set it aside
till it is called into the game.

The Stadium is heating up'

Add some olive oil to a large cast iron pan with salt & pepper.

Tumble in some of the Players.

Saute one chopped up onion on low heat till tender.

Some of the players have been warming up on the field.

More players are seen heading into the Stadium.

Pour in 4 cups of chicken broth.

Looks like the end of the first quarter..

Toss all the chicken into the pot.

The Wide Receivers are open for a catch.

Tumble in 3 cans of drained Cannellini Beans.

The secret play has been called and is about to happen on the field.

Squeeze the juice of one lime into the pot.

The special team players are now on the field..

Tumble in....

one dice green chile
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of chile powder
chopped celantro
1 clove of garlic
1/3 cup of Green Salsa Verde

The game is boiling up now.

The crowd goes wild!

Bring the pot to a boil on the stove and then down to a simmer.

Looks like another secret play has just been called..

Add in a few dashes of red pepper flakes to taste.

Uh Oh, the Referees are having a side meeting.

Penalty declined.

Have a taste of the Chile to see if you need a bit more salt and pepper.

Could this be called a flag on a play!

"No Way" yell the fans.

Absolutely add some rich sour cream to the pot!

TIME OUT.

Looks like a player has been injured.

Grab 4 ears of fresh corn to go into the pot, fresh is always best.

The injured player is back in the game!

Half Time!

Put a lid on the pot till you ready to serve.

TOUCHDOWN.

Wow what a GAME!

White Chicken Chile is done and it smells & looks delicious.

GAME OVER!

Grab a beer cuz it's time to eat.

Garnish the White Chicken Chile with everything you love.

I am a team player so have a bowl of this yummy

White Chicken Chile.

Enjoy!

P.S.

Seconds Please!

May your favorite team win.

Go Niners!
