DIY- POMPOM SUN HAT

So most of us are loving Pompoms. Lately as we have put them on pillows, curtains,

and even cloth napkins. So, I figured we need a DIY to celebrate this

little Pompom obsession. This fun sun hat is perfect for a lazy 

summer days by the pool or garden and its so easy!

I have been having a Yellow obsession too!!! So get 

yourself a classic "Lemmy Sparkling Lemonade" and lets get started:)

Measure the amount of Pompom fringe you need to go around the hats brim and cut.

Little by little glue the inside of the hats brim with fabric glue and start adding

the fringe on top. Do this all the way around. 

Finished and I have one more hat to Pompom fringe. Cute :)

This one one in Green? Hmmm

Easy peasey! It makes any "Staycation" so much more glamorous. I can think

of so more wonderful color combination to try.

MY LEMON CURD RECIPE!

3 lemons

 1 1/2 cups sugar

1/4 pound unsalted butter, room temperature 

4 extra-large eggs

1/2 cup lemon juices (3 to 4 lemons)

1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

Using a carrot peeler, remove the zest of 3 lemons, being careful to avoid the pith. Put the zest on the food processor. Add the sugar and pulse until the zest is very finely minced into the sugar.

Cream the butter and beat the sugar and lemon mixture. Add the eggs, 1 at a time, and then add the lemon juice and salt. Mix until combined.

Pour the mixture into a 2 quart saucepan and cook over low heat until thickened (about 10 minutes), stirring constantly. The lemon curd will thicken just below simmer. 

Remove from heat or refrigerate.

Spread your lemon curd on your store bought cake from your 

favorite market,  make it that more Special and...

Head outside and enjoy your lemon curd, with your new PomPom hat on :)
