BAKED PARMESAN TOMATOES

Baked Parmesan Tomatoes can be super simple side dish or even
a great appetizer. It's almost magical when you pair together
tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. I served this dish
the other night with grilled sword fish and it was a hit.

Off to the oven.

These baked Parmesan Tomatoes are so easy you don't
even need a recipe, but because your my friends
I'am providing the super simple recipe.

INGREDIENTS

2 large tomatoes, cut into 3 slices each
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1tsp dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
a little bit of olive oil for drizzling over the top
bunch of sliced basil

1. Preheat oven to 400 F degrees.
2. In a small blow toss together the Parmesan cheese dried oregano, salt and pepper. Top each tomato slice evenly with the Parmesan cheese mixture and basil. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
3. Bake for about 5 to 10 minutes or until you notice the cheese starts to turn gold.
Garnish with basil and and have a bite.

Here is a piping hot slice just for you :)

Enjoy!
