EASY BLUEBERRY JAM

Although I eat fresh blueberries and enjoy them in salads, smoothies
and baked goods, I must admit this is the first time
I'am making Blueberry Jam.
The fruit at the Farmers Market is so fresh and colorful this time of year.
LOL don't let me go to the Farmers Market anymore, because I
am now temped to make every fruit flavor jam possible.
Hmmm... Strawberry Apricot sound good.

This is a quick and easy Blueberry Jam recipe.
Just three ingredients and no preservatives or pectin or any artificial flavors and colors needed.
I am not kidding :)

My wooden spoon is now purple!

Blueberry Jam is ready for the Jars.

So yummy!

The jars are all filled.

INGREDIENTS

3. 3 pounds of fresh blueberries
3.5 cups sugar
juice go 1/2 lemon

1. Wash blueberries and remove any bad, leaves or stems.
2. Place the drained berries into a large pot, alternating with sugar.
If you don't want to see your jam overflow down the stove make sure you don't fill the pot more than two-thirds.
3. Add lemon and bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
Stir occasionally.
4. Reduce heat to medium-low heat and let jam simmer, stirring constantly to
prevent sticking the bottom.
5. Use a potato masher to release more of the lovely juice out.
6. Test the thickness of the jam periodically ( spoon some jam onto a plate
and let cool). If it's runny and saucy you need to let the jam cook some more.
It cooked about 25 minutes or so on the stove top.
7. Cool and fill your jars.

These three Blueberry Jams are going
to be a Spring Surprise at
a few friends front door…

Enjoy!

P.S.

Why not serve your Blueberry Jam as an Appetizer?
Cracker & Cream Cheese
Topped With Blueberry Jam. Devine!

P.S. Again

A bite for you :)
