Fudge Pie

This is not an elegant pie. It is a pie that has a decadent chocolate filling that is so fudgeee. I love the texture that this Fudge Pie has, it is dense in a yummy goodyess.

Chocolate & Sugar are in.

What’s wrong with this picture other than NOTHING! Chopped pecans in and I promise no finger tasting yet. Maybe with a spatula ;)

All that yummy fudge is now  in the pie crust and off to the oven. The bowl and spatula in the back, they are mine to enjoy :)
Ingredients
1/4 cup of evaporated milk
6 oz. of semisweet chocolate morsels
1Tbsp. butter
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
2 large eggs
1tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 ( 9-inch ) frozen piecrust shell.
Lets get Baking.
1. Preheat oven to 372. Microwave first 3 ingredients in a large microwave-safe bowl at high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until melted and smooth, whisking at 30- intervals.
2. Whisk sugar and flour into chocolate mixture. Add eggs, 1 at a time, whisking just until blended after each addition. Whisk in vanilla and salt. Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pie shell.
3. Bake ar 375 for 40 to 45 minute or until set. I checked several time with a tooth pic, when it come out clean pie is done. Cool for sure 10 minutes before serving. Fabulous with ice cream on top!
Whaaaat ?

Ok… Who could not wait 10 minute till the Fudge Pie cooled ???

I knew it… my ” Su Chef ” Bella The Boxer could not wait 10 minutes to slice herself  two huge pieces of pie!
Take your Fudge Pie on a picnic, it travels well.
Enjoy!
