Who does not just LOVE bacon? I served this Bacon Candy as an appetizer along with my basic egg salad for our Easter Morning fun. Bacon Candy pairs fabulously with a Bloody Mary & Champagne. GOOOOD MORNING!
Lets Get Cooking.
Line you baking sheet pain with foil ( trust me, do the foil because the clean up is a snap ). Paint maple syrup all over you bacon and then sprinkle with light brown sugar.
Place your tray in the center of the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
If it is not golden and fairly crispy resist the temptation to turn up the oven temperature, and cook it for 10 -15 minutes longer.
Check it again. Keep in mind that when you remove the tray and transfer bacon to a serving platter the bacon will “Crisp" up a little more. Be patient. You house will smell fantastic. Ok, now you can have one.
I have served the Bacon Candy in a tall clear glass too. It looks really cute that way. Room temperature Bacon Candy is the best.
Enjoy!
