Here's a little secret to make your Spiced Eggnog Loaf even
better: room temperature ingredients are key.
Seriously, let that butter, eggs and Eggnog come to room
temperature before mixing!
In a small bowl whisk together...
2 1/2 cups of flour
2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of nutmeg
Whisk Whisk Whisk.
In a large bowl add in 1/2 cup of room temp butter
and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Beat the sugar and butter
until they're nice and smooth.
Beat in two eggs one at a time to the bowl.
Grab your box of vanilla JELL-O.
Tumble in the JELL-O to the mixture and give
the bowl a good stir.
Now, grab that leftover Eggnog.
Pour in 1 1/2 cups of Eggnog to the bowl and fingers
crossed you have a bit left for your Cocktail. :)
Add in 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla to the batter.
Let me know how much Bourbon you pour in. LOL
Tumble in all the dry ingredients into the wet
and give the bowl a good mix!
Have a taste to see if you need more of that BOURBON.
Pour the batter into a loaf pan but you are not done yet.
We need to make that Crumble.
