If the weather outside is frightful, keep everyone cozy inside with some
Hot Chocolate Cookies & A Cup Of Hot Chocolate :)
If you're looking for a different cookie to bring to a cookie exchange or to
bake for the holidays, then make these delicious
Hot Chocolate Cookies!
There are so many new flavors of hot cocoas out there, feel free to get
a little creative with these!
One thing to note: DO NOT use sugar free hot chocolate cocoa mix :)
In a large bowl beat...
1 cup of butter
1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
In a separate bowl add ...
3 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Grab 4 packages of your favorite instant cocoa mix.
Toss the cocoa mix into the dry ingredients and give the bowl a mix.
Gradually beat dry ingredients into the butter mixture until blended.
Stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini marshmallows.
Give the bowl a gentle mix. It can be a bit of a sticky mess.
I used my hands :)
Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.
Be sure to lick the beaters because the batter is fabulous.
Whip yourself up some Hot Cocoa because...
Baby It's Cold Outside!
Yes, pour in some FIREBALL :)
When ready to bake, drop 1 tablespoon of dough, 2 inches apart, onto
baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Continue with the dough for as many cookies you need.
Bake the Hot Chocolate Cookies is a 350 degree oven for about 9- 11 minutes.
Smells like Hot Chocolate in my kitchen!
Let the cookies cool on a wire rack for just a bit.
Place the Hot Chocolate Cookies in a cute plaid bowl
and garnish with some marshmallows :)
You are ready for your cookie exchange or just a gift
for some of your friends.
Really truly, these Hot Chocolate Cookies are incredible and
taste so good dipped in Cold Milk or in your
Hot Chocolate!
Again Santa had way too many Fireball Hot Chocolates!
Fa La La
Enjoy!
P.S.
Here is a cute gift idea.
Place some raw cookie dough in a container for your friends
and they can bake them at home and enjoy the cookies hot!
Maybe even add a little Fireball to the gift package!
