OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST PIE

I love a savory Breakfast Bake!

Bread puddings, stratas, and other breakfast casseroles give
you an advantage: You can prepare them ahead, then
pop them in the oven after you
Rise & Shine :)

This was the perfect breakfast for our house guests last week.

Egglicios!

Start off with about 10 slices of good bacon.

Fry It Up In A Pan.

Then let it cool.

In a large bowl crack 6 eggs.

Beat the eggs with a fork until foamy.

Grab some Swiss Cheese and grate away.

Perfect!

Tumble 2 cups of the shredded Swiss Cheese into the bowl.

Grab a bag of fresh shredded Hash Browns.

Toss in 2 1/2 cups of the potatoes into the bowl.

Crumble up all the bacon into small pieces.

Add the bacon to the bowl.

Drop in 1/2 of your favorite Cottage Cheese.

This is my all time favorite Cottage Cheese :)

Pour in 1/3 cup of milk to the mix.

1/2 Teaspoon of salt.

1/4 Teaspoon of ground pepper.

Now give this big bowl a good stir.

Butter up a beautiful vintage Pyrex pie plate.

Pour all the "Egglicious" mixture into the pie plate.

Cover and refrigerate overnight .....

And ....in the morning when you Rise & Shine bake this
Breakfast Pie in a 325 degree oven for
50 minutes uncovered.

Wowza, my kitchen spells divine!

Let the Breakfast Pie cool just a bit while you whip up a
few Mimosa for your house guests :)

Forks & Plates and ready to eat.

Hot sauce for some who like that extra kick.

Start slicing this delicious

Breakfast Pie!

Enjoy!

P.S.

Have a bite!
