BOURBON MEATBALLS

 

Are you going to The Kentucky Derby? I'm not either.

Lets bring the Derby to our kitchen with some Bourbon Meatballs.

These meatballs just scream Kentucky Derby with the

Bourbon!

You will love these meatballs because they are hot, sweet and spicy in every bite.

Whip up your favorite meatballs recipe in a bowl.

You could also cheat and buy frozen meatballs and have a little

extra time to read this book :)

Roll the meatballs into small cocktail size bites.

Cook the meatballs in batches on the stove top and set them aside.

Grab a big pot and add in 2 cups of barbecue sauce.

One cup of yellow mustard into the pot.

Pour in one cup of honey.

The Star Of The Show...

One Cup Of Kentucky Bourbon!

1 teaspoon of onion powder.

The juice of one lemon from your tree and give the pot a good stir.

Tumble all the meatballs into the pot.

Place the pot on the stove top and bring to a boil and then turn heat to a simmer.

For sure have a little shot of Bourbon while you wait for a boil :)

Put a lid on the pot and let the Bourbon Meatballs simmer for about a half hour.
