FRENCH ONION TARLETS


These are an edible optical illusion, they look like an appetizer but
taste like French Onion Soup!

Deliciously savory French Onion Tartlets made with a flaky crispy
Mimi Phyllo Shells. The perfect appetizer that 
that requires no spoon :)


Chop up two medium yellow onions.


In a skillet melt 4 tablespoons of butter.


Toss in the chopped onions and cook them, stirring occasionally
about 10 minutes until soften. Salt & Pepper to taste.


In a bowl crack in one egg and beat it.


Slice about 4 ounces of cream cheese.


Add the cream cheese into the egg and give it a good mix.


Grab your favorite Sauvignon Blanc and measure out one tablespoon.
Go ahead a drink the rest ;)


Pour the tablespoon of wine into the onion mixture.


Stir in the cream cheese mixture in to the onions.


Chop up about 2 tablespoons of parsley and toss it in.


Place all the goodness into a dish and get ready to fill the Phyllo.


You can use any brand of Mini Phyllo Pastry Shells.


Lets Get Filling.


Perfect...
Now off to a 350 degree oven for about 10 to 15 minutes.


Go ahead and have one piping hot right now!
