STUFFED PEPPER SOUP


If you love Stuffed Peppers than you will need to try this soup!

Raise your spoon it's Soup Season.


No, you don't need all these peppers just bragging how many grew in my garden :)


Chop up one onion.


In a Dutch oven brown about 2 lb ground beef with the onion over medium heat.


Chop up 2 cups green and red peppers.


Chop up two chile peppers...no seeds :)


Drain the fat from the Dutch oven.


Tumble in all the peppers in with the ground beef.


Add in

1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt & pepper


14- 1/2 oz can of Fire Roasted Tomatoes.


Pour in 3 cups of beef broth.


A few bay leaves to the pot.


Bring to a boil and then let simmer for just about a half hour.


You could add cooked rice at this point or leave it out.

Now get some bowls and serve up some soup.


Yes "Orange Pepper Bowls"


Just fill up the peppers and serve.
