CLASSIC ITALIAN TIRAMISU

When an original can't really be improved, it's a classic. But then there are those times when you want to put a fun twist on a recipe and make it your own. Not this one. You
can't improve and original classic so leave this Tiramisu alone!

You get a lot of flavors and richness when simple ingredients come together.
Brew three cups of coffee and place in the fridge to cool.

Separate two yolks into a large mixing bowl and whites into a small bowl.

Add one cup of sugar to the egg yolks and beat with a hand held mixer
on medium until the mixture goes pale and thick.

Mixing!

With a "Spring Honey Bee Spatula" add in 8 ounces of Mascarpone Cheese
into the egg yolks. Beat until well combined. Clean
and dry your mixer.

In another bowl, whip up 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks hold.

Love whip cream. Finger taste.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the yolk and cheese mixture. Do not beat.

Rinse the mixer again and make sure it's dried completely. Now, beat
the egg whites to soft peaks.

Perfect Peaks!

With your "Spring Honey Bee Spatula" fold the whites into cream mixture.

Now your coffee should be cooled. Pour three cups of coffee into
a bowl and 3 tablespoons of Kahlua.

Quickly dip 15 ounces of Ladyfingers into coffee mixture, one at a time, for just a second.
If you let Ladyfingers soak too long, they will soften quickly and
lose their shape....So Quick Dip.

Layer the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

Place half of the cream mixture over the top.

Repeat with the remaining Ladyfingers and spread.

Spread out the other half with cream mixture on top of second layer
of Ladyfingers. Smooth the surface. Cover and pop
into refrigerator for at least 2 hours
or over night.

Before serving dust the Tiramisu with natural cocoa powder!

This is one of those desserts where a little goes a long way!

I served my Tiramisu for darling Kelly's "Italian Inspired" Wedding Show Brunch.
After all Kelly & Brent are getting married in
Italy....

Dessert just started!

Day after the shower...One slice left
and it was mine!

I hope you can enjoy the decadent flavor of this classic dessert soon :)

In the mean time have a bite of my Tiramisu!

Enjoy!
