AYESHA CURRY'S PORK CHOPS AND APPLES

The Golden State Warriors take to the floor tonight! This inspired me to cook a recipe
from Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha Curry's cookbook, "The Seasoned Life".

Pork Chops and Apples is such a fall dish so enjoy some while you watch basketball tonight!
All you need are 4 pork chops, 4 apples, Maple Syrup and seasoning.

Preheat oven to 250 and slice up your apples, set aside.

In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp. chile powder and 1 tsp. kosher salt.
Season the Pork Chops on both sides with spice mix.

Heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Sear the Pork Chops on both sides until golden brown
on the outside and still pink in the center,
about 3 minutes per side.

Turn off oven and transfer the pork chops into the oven to keep
warm. Cook the remaining two pork chops
and transfer them to the oven.

In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Add apples into the skillet next. Cook, stirring often,
until the apples soften about 10 minutes.

Pour in 2tbsp. of Maple Syrup halfway through cooking.

Run to the oven and grab the cooked pork chops.

To serve, just top the the apples with the pork chops, garnish and serve right from the skillet.

You could also serve Ayesha Curry's Pork Chops on a platter but
make sure the WINE is poured and the GAME is on. "YUM"
Go Golden State Warriors!

Ayesha Curry likes her Pork Chops with her
Best Mac and Cheese but I am going
with Roasted Acorn Squash!

Enjoy!

P.S.

Cook Ayesha recipes through the season on
Game Day!

This group, not only are they extremely talented, but what I like
about them is they're just great guys.
