BEER BRAISED BRISKET #SUNDAYSUPPER

For maximum deliciousness Beer Braised Beef Brisket is cooked low and slow.
This brisket is braised in a homemade stout beer barbecue sauce that cooks down and leaves
behind a deep rich flavor that mingles with the natural flavor of the beef…
Truly Yummy!

Brisket is a lean cut of meat often used in pot roast. It's
normally a tough cut of beef that many associate with being dry
but it doesn't have to be the case. I like to slow cook brisket in a liquid to break down
the tough parts for a tender, juicy end result. I seasoned the brisket first and let it set for 30 minutes.

Place brisket in the hot, dry skillet and allow to sear for 5 minutes without moving. Using tongs sear the other side for 5 minutes or until a nice crust forms. Cover and set aside .

In a large bowl combine stout beer, chile sauce, and brown sugar.

Pour mixture over the brisket.

Top with onions and garlic Covet and pop this into a preheated
oven for 3 hours. Your home will be smell really good soon. Trust me.

This looks so Awesome. Now allow this brisket to rest on a cutting board for 20 min before slicing.

Pour the pan drippings into pitcher and drizzle all over the sliced  brisket.

Go ahead and slice it to your preference. It is so tender the brisket just falls
apart. I served this brisket with a side of potatoes and sautéed spinach.
The sauce just runs into your veggies and you will
love it.

INGREDIENTS

3lb beef brisket
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
1 medium yellow onion, sliced
5 whole garlic cloves, peeled
14.9 ounce stout beer
12 ounces chili sauce
3/4 cup packed brown sugar

Enjoy!

P.S. Pulled beef will make amazing BBQ beef sandwiches.
