CHOCOLATE CHIP SHORTBREAD COOKIES

This is a classic Shortbread cookie recipe with an added accessory…mini chocolate chips.
Such a delightful easy cookie recipe that makes
a very rich, crumbly and buttery cookie.

Start with 1/2 cup of butter and 1/2 cup of sugar. With electric mixer
beat together until light and fluffy. Add 1tsp of vanilla.

Add 1 cup of flour.

Add 1/4 tsp of salt next.

Mix well all the ingredients.

I like to wear accessories and eat accessories so tumble in
a 1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips.

Press dough into a 9x9 baking dish (Un-greased) and bake
at a 350 degree oven for about 15-17 minutes.

Gosh I wish you could smell this Shortbread. How easy was this to whip up?
Slide a knife around the edges to easily remove the cookie.

Think we are ready to cut a piece for you and me now.

I like cutting the cookie into triangles.

Yum! Shortbread Cookies have always been my favorite cookie.
With or with the chocolate chips #LOVE

Have a bite, WAIT….. try a bite this way.

Dip the Shortbread Cookie in a glass of milk first.

Now have a bite!!!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup of soften butter
1/2 cup sugar
1tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup all-putpose flour
1/4tsp salt
1/2 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips

Don't eat all the cookies yourself. Wrap them up cute and share with your friends.

Enjoy!
