I can't believe that New Years Eve is tomorrow. I mean really where
did the time go? To me New Years Eve involves
Socializing, Champagne and Finger Food.
Here are a few little cocktail snacks that involve
very few ingredients or preparation time and deliver
Fancy & Flavor to any last minute
New Years Eve gathering or maybe just for two:)
Start with Champagne, Midnight Kiss and White Chocolate Raspberries!
BEEF TENDERLOIN CROSTINI
I am a big fan of crostini, especially for a cocktail parties. They
are so easy to whip up and so many variations.
We had a beef tenderloin for dinner the other night so...
Roast Once and Feast twice.
Slice your bread and spread a little butter on the top. Next top with green pepper, slice beef tenderloin and top with brie cheese. Garnish your way.
Pop in a 350 degree oven and cook about ten minute till cheese is completely melted.
BOURSIN PROSCIUTTO PHYLLO CUPS
I love Easy & I love cheese.
Put three great thing together and make
one tiny tasty appetizer!
Buy 1 package pre-made frozen mini phyllo cups (Athen Mini). Mix together a one package of Garlic Herb Boursin Cheese, half cup of chopped Prosciutto in a bowl.
Fill the phyllo cup and garnish with chives.
EASY PARMESAN MUSHROOMS
These juicy stuffed mushroom are divine and so simple.
Lay mushroom caps tightly packed and touching on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then top with lots of Parmesan cheese evenly, concentrating on filling up the cavities and drizzle a little olive oil over the top. Pop mushrooms into a 450 degree oven for about 15 minutes till cheese is all melted.
Make sure you save the cheeses that spills out over the mushrooms because thats Gold..
MAUREEN'S MESS
This recipe is actually called Mater's Mess and I got it out of
Steve Stolman's cookbook "Confessions Of A Serial Entertainer". My new
favorite cookbook. Since I am making this
recipe I decided to call it Maureen's Mess.
This cheese spread is so yummy I would give it away as a gift to friends.
It's a must to sever this dip on a Triscuit Crackers from a silver bowl.
Keep It Old School Fancy!
Place 1 cup pimento-stuffed olives, 1 yellow coarsely chopped onion, 8 ounces soften creamed cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 2 hard boiled eggs into a food processor and pulse until well combined. Transfer to a serving bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Remember, serve it on Triscuit or maybe a cucumber slices.
CHAMPAGNE JELLO SHOTS!
Ring in the New Year with super fun
Champagne Jello Shots.
Toast to Joy in 2016!
Mix 2 packets of knox unflavored gelatin, 2 Tbsp. sugar and two cups of Champagne in a bow. Let the mixture sit for 3 minutes, then microwave on high for 3 minutes. Pour mixture into a 8 inch square or round cake pan. Refrigerate until completely set. Take a cookie cutter (I used mini flower) and cut out your Champagne Jello Shots and decorate with edible sprinkles.
We will be having a quiet, low key fun this New Years Eve.
Have A Happy 2016 Everyone! Cheers xo
Enjoy!
