Cowboy Casserole!
Stand By Your Crockpot Because It's Crockpot Season.
Cowboy Casserole is rustic and rugged, but also cozy and indulgent
with the smokey, cheesy, creamy flavors that are tasty bold.
Get your Cowboy Boots & Cowboy Hat on and lets get
COOKING!
Got my Cowboy Boots, Cowboy Hat and Crockpot,
so lets saddle up and get it cooking.
Y'all this is everything you will need and don't mistake
Simple for Basic with these ingredients,
Chop up one Onion.
Rope the Onions into a large pot on the stove top.
Rope into the pot 2lbs of Ground Beef, some minced
Garlic and of course some Salt & Pepper.
Cook the Beef until browned and Onions are translucent.
Wrangle the Beef into a large Crockpot.
Corral up the rest of the ingredients
that will be roped into the Cowboy Casserole.
Stampede in one bag of frozen Corn and one can of
drained Kidney Beens to the Rodeo.
Rope in one can of diced Tomatoes with
Green Chiles to the Rodeo.
Lasso in one can of Cream Of Mushroom Soup to the Rodeo.
Rope in 1/2 cup of Milk to the Rodeo.
Rope in 3 cups of Frozen Hash Brown Potatoes to the Rodeo.
Y'all I LOVE Hash Brown Potatoes!
Now give the Crockpot a Two Step dance.
Put a lid on this Rodeo and set the timer to
Low for 6 hours or High for 3 hours.
Let it do all the work while you go ride and when you
come home your house will spell...
Amazing!
This Cowgirl is off to have some fun because
The Cowboy Is Cooking.
Just before serving the Cowboy Casserole
whip up some Country Biscuits.
Pop those Biscuits into a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes
or until golden brown.
Truck in a cup of Cheddar Cheese.
Rope in the Cheddar Cheese and top the
Cowboy Casserole off.
Y'all the Country Biscuits are baked so lets
rally up because it's time to eat!
Sneaking A Taste!
Omg yum and it's kind of a meal Cowboys & Cowgirls
probably Dream of while riding across the wild plains all day.
Hall in some plates.
Y'all, Cowboy Casserole & Biscuits!
This Is A Hug In A Bowl Straight
From The Heartland.
Now I am doing The Two Step :)
For sure rope in some Hot Sauce to sling
on to your Cowboy Casserole too.
Fall is in the air and I think I may just put the Fireplace on now.
This recipe lends itself to many variations but
this is how this Cowgirl is whipping it up today :)
Enjoy!
P.S.
Cowgirl lucky here. We have some leftovers to
enjoy when the Cowboy Casserole Craving comes Galloping in!
Trucking to the freezer with these Cowboy Casseroles.
Remember....
Cooking with a Crockpot is the best because when you
open you front door after 6 hours you're hit
with a scent so rich and so warm
GIDDY UP!
