The Espresso Martini was invented by Dick Bradsell, a renowned Bartender
in the 1980s. He created it at the Shoho Brasserie in London, initially
calling it "Vodka Espresso".

The drink later gained popularity as the Espresso Martini due to
the use of a Martini glass and the prominent Espresso flavor.

Bradsell has describe the circumstance of it's creation, stating a young
model asked him for a drink that would ....

"Wake Her Up"

Cheers!
