WINE BOTTLE FLORAL ARRANGEMENT

 

Cooking is not my only passion. I also love Flower Arranging, Interior Design 

and Drinking Wine... and all at the same time!

We went to a dinner party at our friends house the other night. I could

not make up my mind whether to bring flowers or a bottle of wine.

So I brought both!

How do you make a flower arrangement in a wine bottle 

without opening the WINE?

Well.... I played in my garden.

First, I grabbed my favorite bottle of Whitehall Lane Sauvignon Blanc,

then flowers, foam bricks and my clippers.

Cut the foam brick into a square and soak it in some water.

Gently push the unopened bottle upside down into the foam

Flip the bottle over and then trim all the corners.

Now the fun part.

Just trim the flower stems and push them into the foam.

Voila....

Wine is still in the bottle!

Kinda want to keep this arrangement for us on our deck at home.

The Wine Bottle Floral Arrangement 

in my garden looks great too.

Off we go with my cute hostess gift.

Our friends said this floral arrangement was too pretty to drink

the wine! She made it her centerpiece for dinner.
