LEFTOVER PIZZA BREAKFAST CASSEROLE

I am sure you have made some kind of breakfast casserole before BUT...

Not Like This One!

Leftover Pizza is good enough by itself, but you can elevate it to a whole new
level by turning it into a whole new recipe the next day!

Start with your leftover pizza you had for dinner at your favorite restaurant.

This pizza is from "Brasswood" restaurant  is St Helena.

We always order two pizzas so we can leave with some leftovers :)

Butter up a 9x9-inch baking dish.

Cut up about 6 leftover pizza slices into 3/4 inch squares and
arrange them into the dish.

Grab 4 room temperature eggs and give them a good mix up.

To the eggs pour in 1 cup of room temperature whole milk.

To the bowl sprinkle in 2 teaspoons of dried oregano.

A pinch of red pepper flakes to taste and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.

Toss into the bowl 2 cloves of fresh minced garlic.

Add in 1/3 cup of chopped onions.

To the bowl next add in 3 tablespoons of melted
butter and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.

It's not a Pizza without the Mozzarella cheese!

Toss in 1 (8 ounce) package of shredded Mozzarella cheese.

Give this big bowl of goodness a mix.

Pour all the egg mixture over the top of the Pizza squares.

Cover dish with aluminum foil and bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

Make yourself a Mimosa while it bakes and enjoy the aroma.

After 45 minutes remove the casserole and top it with
some Pepperoni and then back into the oven
uncovered for 20 more minutes.

Into the oven it goes!

I wish you could smell this casserole now.
Yum!

Now how should I cut this....

Pizza Cutter or Shovel ?

Brunch Is Ready Everyone!

Come get a "slice"!

This is a simple yet different breakfast recipe. It is so great for company.

Leftover Pizza Casserole is beyond

DELICIOUS...

Have a little taste!

This recipe will be made over and over again in my house for sure!

Enjoy!

P.S.

Good things come out of this kind of box :)
